High angle shot was used to show the position of each vehicles and to show the damage caused on the prison bus after being attacked (rolling around).
Editing
The editing in this opening sequence was very fast paced since there is a consecutive cut between the shots of the cars to the close-up shots of the characters and the long shots of the overall situation. This helps to build the excitement and urgency which is very useful in action scenes that requires high energy such as car chasing like this. Also, the rapid cuts would keep the audience engaged and attracted to the intensity of the scene

This heavy, chaotic sound helps emphasizing the violence and destruction of the crash which enhance the scene's dramatic impact. The slow-paced music at first which is non-diegetic seems to be piece scene but sudden roar of the engines that signals an action code. The intense fast temp music later during the attack which was non-diegetic could boost the intensity of the situation to the audience since it could make some people feel nervous.
